1. How to place an order?
 

1) Simply confirm shopping cart.
2) Click here to submit web form with the info of your order.
3) Send E-mail to sales@dosoart.com with your order info. Our staff will get back to you in 24 hours after receive your message.

2. Are these on your website all handmade paintings?
  Every piece of picture you found on our website is hand painted. We strive to give our customers the best hand made oil paintings with good price.

3. What is the quality of your paintings?
 
We provide hand made paintings in high quality. We demand that our artists have the same critical quality standards that you have to ensure that every piece of painting we ship meets the standards that you expect.
Before we send finished painting you ordered, a photo of it will be sent to you, so you can check the quality. We won't send out even one painting to you until you are satisfied with it and confirm to send it.

4. Cannot find what you are looking for, how to make the order?
 
If you want a painting not on our website, no problem, you can request a special order. Just submit an image of that painting (or a link to one).
For master's piece reproduction, please inform us the artist's name and the title of the painting.

5. Do you offer other paintings not displayed on your website?
 

Yes, we can paint any painting that you have picture, photo or the info of master's painting (master's name and name of the painting). Just click here to submit a form or simply send us an email to sales@dosoart.com with following details:

Name of original artist, name of painting (if known)
Or An attached picture or photo (or internet link of site showing the picture)
The dimension of painting that you would like.


6. Can I order a portrait painting for myself or others? Can I paint my pets, house or car etc.?
 

Yes, we accept custom order. Please E-mail us with following details.
1) Digital Photo or scanned image (pixels better between 1024 and 1600)
2) Dimension of the painting you want (in CM or IN)

7. Will the painting look like it does on the website?
 
We have strict standards to ensure that our website images accurately represent the painting that you have ordered. There may be small subtle differences since it's painted by hand instead of being printed by machine. But each painting will remain true to the original picture you see. 8. How about payment and what are my payment options?
 

30% prepayment is needed to start an order. Remaining 70% payment can be paid before shipment.

9. Are the paintings delivered framed or unframed?
 
We have three choices.
1). Unframed painting on canvas, linen or wooden board only. Click here to view a sample.
2). Stretched painting which is ready for hang. Click here to view a sample.
3). Framed painting (including inner frame and outer frame). Click here to view a sample.
For order in retail quantities, it's recommended not to buy several framed pieces.
If we framed the painting for you, its price would increase significantly due to much higher shipping costs. Take your painting to be framed at a local picture-framing shop. You are much more likely to get the exact frame that you want and it will be cheaper for you.

10. Are these paintings legal?
 
Yes, do not worry. It is perfectly legal to reproduce these paintings. We stress that these paintings are reproductions - we are not passing them off as originals.
If the painting on our website is marked original, that's what we get directly from original painter and get authorization to sell it.

11. How about delivery time? When will I receive my order?
 
Our standard processing time for normal orders is approximately 8 - 20 days.

12. How will the painting I ordered be packed?
 

For painting only
All items are shipped rolled in high-strength shipping tubes.
For order of over 20 pieces paintings, we roll them and pack them with water-proof kraft paper to avoid much more shipping cost.

For stretched and framed painting
1) The painting is taken off the stretcher bars or frame and rolled. Then it is carefully packed into several layers of special casing material which prevents it form being damaged. This type of packing reduces the shipping costs. And you can easily assemble the painting with stretcher or frame.
2) The painting is shipped being stretched or framed. It is placed between layers of foam plastic and wrapped into special casing material. This type of packing is more expensive as than first one.

If upon delivery you note that the package is damaged and it is apparent that the contents are also damaged, please refuse delivery and notify us immediately. The damaged shipment will be returned to our distribution center and a replacement order will be processed promptly.


13. How will my order be shipped? How long will it take? And can I have any idea about the charge?
 

For normal order (paintings only or stretched, framed paintings, frames in small quantity), we ship it by express (DHL, UPS, TNT, FEDEX etc.) or Chinese air mail.
Package weights over 40Kg will be sent by air mail, it takes 7 - 14 days.
Less than 40Kg sent by Express, it takes 2 - 7 days.

For large order (order of stretched painting, framed painting or frames in large quantity), we ship it by sea, it takes 15 - 30 days.

14. What is your return policy?
 

Your satisfaction is guaranteed when shopping at Doso Art.
Before delivery, we'll photo the paintings you ordered for your confirmation. Before you are satisfied with the paintings, they won't be sent out to you.

If you are not satisfied in any way when you received the paintings, and it does because of the quality problem can't find through a photo. You may exchange it or return the item for a refund for the cost of the purchased item(s) within 10 days from the date of the package reaching you.

PROCEDURE
You must inform our staff, via email, prior to shipping a return in order to receive proper instructions and authorization. The customer must pay return shipping charge unless it was our shipping error.

NOTICE
We gladly accept any returns that follow above return guidelines. However, art products are very delicate, meaning you need to take extreme measures to ensure the items are returned undamaged. If we do receive a damaged item as a return and we are unable to re-enter the item into our inventory, then we can offer you the option of the following remedies:
1) We can return the item(s) to you but you should pay the shipping fee.
2) We can refund you part of the purchase price of the item(s) according to concrete situation of the damaged return. If it's totally damaged and can't be remedied, sorry, we can't refund you.
